My partner's husband is a Bond fan. After a brief search, we sourced this James Bond Collectors Piece 212.30.41.20.01.001 from Sabashioyakiz1, who is one of the endorsed eBay sellers on this forum. The transaction was smooth and rapid, with delivery from Japan within a week. Add my name to the list of satisfied buyers.

The most tasteful of the overt Bond watches. I like and I hate Bond branding.

I too have mixed feelings. The guy who's getting it uses the Bond theme as his ringtone, so it will be well-received. This watch is more subtle than some that were produced. It's just that seconds hand....

This one wasn't produced for a particular movie, but for an anniversary of the movies (I think).

Thanks! If you want really subtle take a look at the Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre - nothing on the face of the watch that refers to 007/Bond

Yeah that's my point, the Bond watches save this one and the Spectre which basically has zero Bond branding where you would ever see it, tend to be too much in my opinion. The Dial has 007 all over it repeating, or way to busy with words and or the gun rifleing motif on the dial. This one is downright restrained. If you where a huge Bond Fan this one is pretty darn nice and not annoying to the watchistas out there. Then again if I had to have a Bond watch.. the Spectre... drool....

No that is a different one, and a perfect example of what is wrong with most Bond watches.

That one, if I'm not mistaken, is a 44.5 mm anniversary edition that was produced later. Ours is a 41 mm, which is a good modern size that isn't overwhelming for most guys.

I agree with the others that this and the spectre seem to be the only good choices for bond aficionados. At least those whom are fans and don't wish to be karate chopped in the face with branding every time they check the time.

You either forgot to use the sarcasm font or you're looking to get banished to WUS. :cautious:

    For example:

Not sarcastic: That's a great idea, you should buy Chris an island of the coast of Costa Rica. :D

Sarcastic: That's a "great idea", you should... ;)

Inflection of meaning through font and emoji.

Back OT though - that watch is a true Bond lovers piece, not for most of us round here, but a lot of people love Bond and buy the Merch. Good luck to them. :)
