Sorry, no photo of movement. Couldn't get back off without mucking up caseback more than it already is.

I haven't seen too many golden ones, is the dial original? It looks spectacular. Is that a coathanger lurking under that hand?

I hadn't either. I'm told it is original. I can't tell. The case ref.# is 145.029. When I looked it up on the database, it came back as stainless steel. There is an Omega logo and the # 20 on the side of the case, @ 6 o'clock. I assume the 20 means 20 microns. The case looks yellow gold in color, the dial and hands contrast looking rose gold in color. The subdials are blue. The listing photos show the movement to be very clean.

Here's a photo of movement from the listing.

I have the 145.020 in SS which looks very similar, I can't wait for the experts to join us, this is something unusual for me. Those 861's are cool with their delicate complexity, yet so rock solid.
    Maybe the "20" means 20 carat(karat) and you're rich!
My gut says refinished by a true artisan, a mad scientist that wanted to make a bold statement. However, since I don't know jack, don't place any weight in my opinion!
Regardless of it's origin, it's strikingly unique to me.

I stand by my call as an original dial. I've either owned or handled nearly all of these Seamaster C-case chronographs, from the original caliber 321 versions through the caliber 861 models including a few Soccer Timers, then into the Chronostop Seamaster & Genève caliber 865 variations. This particular 145.029 is the replacement for the 145.016, which was originally a 145.006 when it housed the 321.

You are correct that the 20 stands for 20 microns gold plate. A nice thing about these C-cases is at 40+ mm (measured 2 - 8 ø) they hold up against many modern watches for size, but still have the cool hint of the look of the late 60's and 70's.

Here's a picture of the original 145.006 in all 18ct I used to own:

.... and the 145.007 that I still have:

There are quite a few floating around this place, including the most recent purchase by adam78 - black dialed ss 861. I guess I can officially welcome you to the club now!

It is unique in my newb book. Once in awhile even an ecclectic collector, as myself, get a nice surprise.:)

Don't worry -- the dial on your new one is definitely original, and very nice indeed...

Dennis, mine is also a 145.006 with cal. 321! I always lusted after your 18K example, esp. after I had it on my wrist.

Very nice. I have a blue face 145.029 and they wear very well, especially if you have a larger wrist.

If only mine had an applied logo dial like yours !

Two, actually (though this with silver dial):

Mine is the single declined offer. The gold dial looks better (though this silver dialed version does look less polished, correct hands, and is pretty crisp).
