FedEx just delivered my Junghans Bund I sent out for service a few week ago. Was suppose to be delivered Tuesday due to Christmas but it got to my door early. Here is a before photo the sweep hand was in bad shape the paint was pealing off a junk of paint was holding by a thread and he touched up the bezel ring a little. After it came out pretty good.
Was issued to the German Air Force in the 1950's-1960's Issued marks https://www.fratellowatches.com/tbt-junghans-bundeswehr-chronograph/ This web site has the most info I can find on the net. This should tell you a little about it.
Lewismark your right there underrated than all the issued Bunds I got it what I paid for my Heuer Bund 6 or 7 years ago and those Heuer bunds just about doubled in price since. The bezel ring just so unique on these and that just gives them this cool look.
When I sent the Janghans in for service I also sent this WW1 Zenith US Army Signal Corps wristlet in also it had a plastic cracked crystal so had it service and the crystal replaced with a period correct beveled glass crystal. So got two watches back the same day.
Here is a better shot of it there a tough watch to take a photo of. Here is a interesting thread about the Kiefer SS Expandro bracelet these were issued with. http://www.vintage-time.de/index.php/Thread/4253-Kiefer-Expandro-BUND-Junghans/ Since the issued ones are dam rare I found a civilian one on Ebay it's 19.3mm so will have to file the ends on the bracelet to fit not bad for 24 bucks and NOS. From that link above a German Pilot with a Kiefer Expandro bracelet.
