Yes, that one is very nice, appears to be quite a bit older then this one in the British Museum.

Just a bit lol, one of those 2.4Mhz Quartz watches would be a great thing to have (though I have 10 other watches to buy first). Thing is I'd go the Stardust over the Marine Chronometer.

Are you sure you want to do that? It might be the bill from Jaeger for my caliber 428. 😲

I'll put you on the list for that one. You're about 19th. 😁

If it's any consolation you're still first on the list for the black dialed 2943. 😉

Item 290729076341 ==> $3,333

Item 290729082013 ==> $3,233 (no reference on the caseback)

Item 300726733981 ==> $2,975 (on account of the crown...should have spent $50 for a new one)

I'll just settle for being known as a fan of the NBA champs.

Let's go Heat!

Yes, as I mentioned, botht the 2648 and the 14k are suspect. I'm told the case has the squirrel marking too but if the dial is 18k, which it should be, then it doesn't belong on this watch. Strange people had bid so high on those two without due diligence.

Well two out three is not bad, I thought the buyers would fooled by the last over polished one, like with the first two , guess not

That makes 5 of 6 deluxe connies (some more suspect than others) all of which fetched really nice prices. Add this 14k one from the same seller of the 504 deluxe one - this one is pricey but the condition makes it worth it IMHO and I would have taken it over any of three connies that just ended.

Both Steves were very close on the first two. 👍 We all overbid on the last one. Would've lost that showcase:

Wow, Hoi's buddy got a bargain from me. I let my 14ct 168.005 caliber 564 go for $2500.

Don't recall seeing your watch but I have to say this ebay watch was near mint to mint in condition - those case lines are razor sharp!

I didn't wear it much anymore after landing the 2799. Not quite as good condition but close to the eBay watch. I'm not complaining at all. Just glad that somebody who'll appreciate it got it.

I think you got a good price for it if the condition was less than the ebay example. I actually thought that ebay watch would hit $3500 or even higher - it was quite close to a NOS example. The price was too steep for me since I favor the early 1950s connies but I could easily see a serious omega collector covet it.
