RG generally carries a premium, WG a much higher premium, PT an extreme premium but condition is a huge factor too.

The synchrobeat is clearly a redial (and has surfaced previously) and the seamaster xvi is not. The condition of the seamaster xvi along with its bracelet is quite excellent.
And condition being equal, RG does carry a premium over YG. I would estimate a 10-30% premium for RG, a 50-100% for WG and sky's the limit for PT.

You think that PG dial would come up well after some cleaning and restoration?

Possible but then again, had a friend who had a deluxe dial cleaned and half the letters were wiped clean off.
Besides, that rose gold case looks pretty beat up.

Yea the caseback's had a heavy polish too, think my next piece will be a PG Grand Lux sans bracelet (unfortnately) but only if ones comes along with potential at a reasonable price, Steve's GL on bracelet in that Day-Date thread just looks stunning...

The RG appears to have water damage to the dial and movement, the box looks like it was wet too. Perhaps stored away somewhere and forgotten for awhile. Such a shame. 🙁

With gold prices the way they are here in the US, there are a LOT of interesting pieces coming out of the woodwork. This thread is the perfect example. Can anybody remember a time when this many gold dialed Constellations came up in such a short span?

It better! I'm half tempted to contact the seller and tell him to point some of his clients here, it'd work out well for him too, sort of like a dealer sending addicts to hang out with other addicts.

I get the hair standing up on the back of my neck every time I imagine one of those gold heavy constellations on bracelet getting melted, and you know its happening, for every gold seller with enough brains to check before they nuke, there's another dumbass that wants to take his percentage profit margin off the scrapping and chuck the movement in the trash. That Centenary you rescued from the electric chair is a prime example.

Worked out ok. Any idea about the band? I looked and couldn't find if it was original Omega or some other brand with omega buckle.
