I found this one in my junk pile. One jewel clunker but my wife likes it. I left it with my jeweller. He’s not even sure it can be opened. I figure the movement may be accessible by removing the crystal.

What are these called? Direct Read? Mechanical Digital? Jump Hour? I saw a nice one on this forum. See below… @Donko1100 yours looks like the real deal. (LIP).

Do you have any to show? (And when I get the consensus on what to call these I will amend the title, as long as it’s not offensive).

I think most call them cheap.

I call them jump hours.

Surprised I do not have any jump hours. I did have a protoswatch from Tissot. Still have the remains, but I destroyed it attempting to remove the crystal and dial for cleaning.

The band is now all sticky. I am sorry I attempted to open it as I was going to clean the movement. One of my few regrets. I thought it was Tissot, but the movement now in the case says AR. I still do have a mechanical swatch IOB. Which was what I got to replace this regret.

Who know what has happened to in in the nearly 30 years I have had it bouncing around in the drawer.

Hard to get a good shot of th e case what says Agon Chromatic watch corp. So perhaps this is not the Tissot one I damaged but something similar.

The enicar dial I have does not fit the 410/412 movement. The movement is also a bit small for the Enicar case I do have. So now this is a mystery.

I have been contemplating making acrylic cases for some of my homeless movements. There are all sorts of things in the craft stores for working with UV set resins.

My watch shown above has the same strap as yours, but 20 mm tapered to 16. It was also sticky but I used “a touch of Dawn” and the stickiness is gone.

What? you did not sew a new strap out of the rear window of a cloth top sports car?

This doesn't have an acrylic case, but it does qualify as a jump hour; given to me by a former paratrooper from the UK who received it while in Berlin during the Cold War

This was with me timing 4 years of post graduate practicals and ONE State Board.

Yeah, only one! WooHoo

it’s earned a spot in my boxed, memories display. It gave its life, I’m still above ground, so…….
WIN-WIN

"Samuray" Jump Hour. Just picked it up from service today.
Seems similar to some cases displayed here.
