Saw this being sold for asking price of $2400. It must be ~38mm and has quite the wrist presence. Seem to be a good price, or any concerns? The seller is a reputable WM, so no movement concerns (still wish I had a pic, though):
Hope your travels are treating you well! For one, id like it to be a screw down case back and that dial is very tired. id like to be at 1800-2000 or lower.
Doug, based on the reference number, the 1st 3 indicates a chrome case. Something to take note of, which could also explain the relatively low asking price.
Yes, I'm thinking the case was probably stripped of the chrome, because the brush marks seem too fresh... not a bad job, though! John, HK is great! I really like the dial, but I haven't seen enough of these to know what to expect...
That's a pretty nice watch !!! Pictures probably don't do it justice. Prices all seem high to me. one of the problems of getting old, I bought in so long ago wish my focus would have been on the sixties !!!
