I have a 14060 Submariner and will buy a classic Datejust soon. I thought about getting a model with a jubilee bracelet that would fit my Sub as well. Have seen photos on the internet and want to try it out. It know some consider it heresy Do anyone know which endlinks would fit a 14060? My guess would be 550 endlinks since the GMT case is very similar to the Sub but will the standard 555 for the Datejust be a fit as well?
I actually like jubilee bracelets... on a sub... not so sure. The subs bracelet is part of its visual design. I think the Seiko SKX is on the more expensive to produce jubilee to better differentiate it from the sub since they share dial designs.
HQ Milton sold a 5513 recently that was really attractive IMO. https://www.hqmilton.com/timepieces/40dnxg3e/1977-rolex-submariner-5513-mark-i-maxi-dial-7677
Any watch with a Jubilee will look good. If you buy a sub with lug holes, then a 502b would fit, if it's a no-lug holes 502T would be best fit. If you go with a 555, it will also fit but will need some adjustments to make it fit...it's not as straight forward.
The answer is No. You need to re-frame the question. It's not about the bracelet per se, it's about the compatibility of end links between the classic Datejust and your Sub. They're not compatible. The end links for a Datejust are made to fit the contours of a 36mm case; your Sub is 39.5mm.
