Yea that will be an interesting one, being there for an actual new Speedy launch. I’m wondering if it’s about the future of omega in space if that means a new version or extension of the X-33 range as we haven’t had much on that front since the skywalker.

Good point, that narrative does sound more like its describing a new production watch meant to go into space and not some limited edition release.
Or maybe its announcing the 3861 got certified by NASA? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hope it’s not about changes in basic 3861 models.

New Speedy Tuesday limited edition? Exciting.

Great, we’ll get a modern MK 40 without the Hodinkee connection.

Sounds like an event Apple would do, "and one more thing".

I’m thinking something like a new gen of NASA flight qualified watch. In X-33 domain. That would be cool

I follow a watch conversation at a Naval military aviation site and it appears that there has been some recent indications by Omega, in touch with squadrons, that a new Speedmaster would be available for squadrons to do custom watches with. Since military squadrons have access to the X-33 for custom case backs maybe it is not out of the realm of possibility that a new X-33 type watch is in the works to could also be used by squadrons for custom watches.

@Robert-Jan
Going On-Topic, can you please share some general info about these Speedy Tuesday events, for some forum members that won't be picked or can't join due to travel restrictions or busy schedules? Is the event for one day only, and what expenses does it involve (tickets, dinner, etc.)?

You don't need to be specific, just some general information.

Thank you

Mostly one day events (the one in Biel was 2 days at Omega HQ), only travel/stay is at your own expense.
