Hi there, I've been searching for a Speedy for a couple of months. After endless research into pre owned sellers, I decided to buy from Jmryshi on ebay due to their brilliant reputation amongst owners. Probably me just flapping but here's some photos of my new speedy in a hope that people with more expertise than me can spot if it's genuine or not.

Looks like a decent 3510.50 (or similar model) Speedmaster Reduced. It's not the typical manual wind moon watch, but nothing wrong with an ETA caliber with a piggyback DD module on top.

 

I used to have one of these. 38.5mm instead of 41mm if memory serves, so it is the reduced model, but not so different in size from the moonwatch. The Hesalite crystal looks like it would benefit from a rub-down with some polywatch.. Nice catch. Not an original bracelet though, I would venture. I can't recall the correct bracelet & end-link refs (which are very hard to come by), but I seem to recall an 1171 (not to be confused with the 1171-1) was a pretty close match? I'm sure someone here will correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Thanks for all the reassurance guys. Safe to say I'm loving my omega. I cringe at how long I left it before I bought my first (of hopefully many)
