So cool, will we ever find out what the mysterious numbers on the RAF dials mean ? 83817 among others but all seem to be early 1940s and all RAF

Number on the Dial ? That is the Stock number for the unsigned JLC replacement dials . There was a Box with that number outside and the unsigned JLC dials inside to safe the Watchmaker a guessing game about the correspondent Position of the Dial feet for that Movement ... Same boxes were for the White replacement Dials of the Lemania Chronos RAN. Saw them at Australian Government Auctions for Horological items .

also unsigned jlc dials are original and specified by the mod, the ones with jlc brand on the dial are the USA ones.

All opinions welcome though it would be good to get to the bottom of it.
