JLC Reverso - Do these Jomashop photos look overexposed?

Jomashop has an interesting Reverso for sale, but the images seem overexposed to me, I'd be interested in your take. I've asked them for more photos. Does anyone have any feedback on this watch? Of course no service history is indicated, but they have a 1yr non-manufacturer warranty and a decent return policy, it seems.

Well it’s the biggest size which is a good start. Some Reversos are very small.

this is actually the medium aka Grand Taille size that’s 42.9 x 25.5 or thereabouts. The large Reverso is 47 mm x 28.3 mm. I find the large doesn’t have the same fit or charm, for me.

I think I understand what you're getting at @DaveK . I do believe there is a loss of detail in the images you posted here -- I'd call it a lack of contrast rather than overexposure. If you look at the images on the Jomashop site, and zoom in on the oblique view of this watch, in particular, you can see the fine texture on the dial inside the minute markers. Their photos are not very good, and there is an additional loss of detail when images are captured from one display and then uploaded to a site like this.

Jomashop is good about their return policy in my limited experience. And their customer service folks have been excellent. If it’s the one you want and the price is right, I wouldn’t hesitate buying from them.

I think it looks ok, but hard to tell about the surfaces because of the protective tape. Decent price with 15 day return. These movements are very reliable, they require very little maintenance so that should be no issue. I'd give it a shot.

Fair enough. My point really was that there are smaller models out there, not necessarily labelled as ladies sizes which are really better suited to the more slender wrist, This size looks good an a man’s wrist and is the sweet spot. I do agree that you shouldn’t go too big, ~42mm like this is the longest I’d want and pretty much fills my 7.25" wrist. These wear very flat and high vs a trad round case with curved down lugs.

Average price at auction for the past few years of a 270.8.62 is around $4400, so this sale price (with Joma's reputation) makes it a good deal, in my opinion.
