    I've never been a huge fan of JLC, but this one has grown on me. I like the solid stainless steel case, as many of these military JLC's seemed to have corroded chrome plated cases. From what I understand, JLC doesn't have a list of serial numbers, correct me if I'm wrong and please tell me what year this is. I'm guessing it's post war, late 1940's. Also, the movement doesn't mark the jewel count. Any additional information would be appreciated.

    It looks a lot like the case and hands of mine, one made for the French market, I think from the 40s as well.

    Has a caliber 476 bumper, which might make it more likely later than yours. I don’t know the movement # though, as I haven’t had it open. Movement pic below was from the seller, @kyle L :
