Offering this stunning JLC Master Moon automatic in mint condition. Ref. 40.2.98.a. The watch runs perfectly and comes with
box, papers and RG deployant. It was serviced in 2010 by JLC. Diameter 37mm. This is the desirable first rendition of the Master Moon.

I am asking $9500 USD shipped/insured.

Tempting, I have been greatly enjoying my Master Calendar, which I had wished had also come with black dial...A question I have is how noticeable (if at all) are finger smudges on the sapphire crystal with black dial? I don't seem to notice any at all with mine. Sometime darker dials pick them up (like on my Nomos Ahoi Atlantik and Globemaster).

Nice one !! Smudges have not been a big issue, but very hard to get a decent photo with all the reflection.
This would make a great christmas gift.

@adam78 , not too bad actually, smudges aren't all that obvious in my SS version of the OP's Master Moon, even with the single AR coating and when viewed indirectly, as this recent pic shows.

No, you shouldn't sell... until I've had a chance to talk my wife into letting me add this stunning piece to my collection!!

I would like very much to purchase, but deciding on this size expenditure (even if a good value) is something I don't like doing on my own, and yet the timing must be absolutely right whenever (if ever..) I choose to bring it up... 😀
