    Thanks Hijak. I'm veeeeeery tempted to get one. The kids might have to forage for food for a while, but I'm prepared to make that sacrifice.

    Yep, there's a fairly big JLC fan base here, both vintage and modern. The enabling on this forum contributes significantly :)

    Btw is that the 39mm MC? It's a nice size.

    Yes it is. If i'm not mistaken the 39mm and its predecessor the 40mm both have the transparent backs. Just in case it wasn't beautiful enough!

    I have one and but am more into other Omegas at this point. Will be posting it up for trade here soon for a Speedmaster...

    JLC is truly the "grande maison", not only because its actual size, but their incredible heritage.

    I think I like more vintage than modern, but current model range is also quite interesting. Only an "obscure" period in the 90's for me (as more major manufacturers) with some strange designs.

    I owned the very same, earlier model as the one shown above, and thought that it was superb.

    The watch is without question a very very nice piece, but i had a few problems with my recent buy
    I think ill make an extra thread about that

    good value watch. I think most basic of the JLC watches and a good entry into the brand

    good entry , Jlc is underestimated brand. IMO
