Very torn, but decided to let this rare and beautiful piece go. For your consideration is the Jaeger LeCoultre Tribute to Geophysic 1958 in steel, limited to 800 pieces. The Watch: Released in limited quantities towards the end of 2014, the watch pays tribute to the legendary Geophysic Chronometre. The steel version was sold out long before year end 2015. Like the original geophysic chronometre, it is antimagnetic (up to 600 gauss). Unlike the original, this tribute is automatic winding, housed inside a larger 38.9mm diameter / 11.4mm thick solid-back case. For detailed heritage and description , please refer to the following Hodinkee article: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/jaeger-lecoultre-geophysic-1958 Condition: This watch has been barely used, in exceptional condition (TZ: 95%+). The buckle is like new. The original JLC strap is like new. JLC Warranty: Purchased from Les Bijoux, a JLC AD, on June 23rd 2015. Thus under JLC warranty.untill June 23rd 2017. Accessories: Full set: outer cardboard box + outer white box + wooden box with loupe + all paperwork. There is a some blue ink inside the wooden box right above the "Geophysic" plaque (circled in red in the last photo). That's probably the most noteworthy imperfection of this set. Price: I am asking $8750 shipped and wired (or paypal +4%). Returns and References: I will happily give a 3 day inspection period. If not to your satisfaction, please ship it back to me (at buyer's expense) during the inspection period, and I will refund the agreed amount less shipping expenses incurred on my end.
