I'm no expert on JLC, so unless there's something really special about this watch (like a Zenith S55 surprised me with its eBay end result at our first encounter ages ago), i can't see the price justifed.
Although it looks nice & original, it's a plain threehander with no complications. €3000+ is chrono (or at least power reserve indicator, or rotating bezel, or other complication) territory. Let's not nitpick about the polished case, crown originality, or the scuffed movement.
I have an all original vintage oversize Memovox with a fluted bezel in even better condition (was complimented on by Zaf Basha himself), that's so rare, I can count on one hand how many i have come across so far. And even i'd be happy to sell if for that much.

JLC is, of course, a luxury brand. Having said that, there's nothing that jumps out at me about this particular watch. I would pass, being afraid that whenever I did end up selling it, not many others would love it, either.

Way overpriced, that watch is nothing special.

Agreed. Although it looks to be all original, that’s a $500 to $750 watch. The “B” code on the case back means that the mid-case is chrome plated base metal. I suspect that it has been recently re-plated.

The big scratch on the main plate doesn’t help it.

No. I am saying that in my opinion, he is asking way too much for this watch.

    Nothing more.

I didn’t even notice the chrome case.

    Revision:

    @ 1200 I hate it

@ 300 I might take it off the sellers hands

A lot of very nice watches, but they’re way overpriced - to me at least. I’d rather learn and learn and learn more to pickup knowledge about my much desired watch(es) and pay half on eBay, or forums. But it’s a personal preference, Herr Eder evidently sells a lot of watches, nothing wrong with that..

Nice job of bringing a chrome cased JLC back to life but $500 to $750 sounds fair. Bit more from seller with overhead. Cool with what looks like pink hands and markers tho.

I think it's too much. It's a beautiful example, but that's price gouging. A fair price at most might be half that. And that scratch on the movement hurts it's value some.
