    Looking at this vintage piece for a gift. Its manual winding. Original crown. Replacement bracelet which I plan to change to a Hirsch strap. Had the case opened but was too excited to get pictures ( I know.. I know...)Movement looks real fresh. What would be a reasonable price for this? Seller is asking for about 700 usd

    When you see "Club" on a JLC, it's the low end. Most times they didn't even use their own movements. $700 is WAY too high for a woman's watch with a generic movement regardless what brand name is on the dial.

    I see. Thanks for the input. So what kind of movements would they put in these watches?

    I think they used A.Schild movements, rather than JLC movements. The Club range was low-end as Dennis said, meant to compete against the quartz watches in the 70s, and not very highly regarded
