Don't know where else to ask this. I got my high school class ring back from my 1st x wife a couple years ago. The band is split, looks like a hunk might be missing. Thought about getting it fixed and sized for my right pinky. Anyone think it would be weird for a 50 year old to wear his high school ring? It is gold.

I say go for it. I wear my great-grandfather's snake pinky ring that is from at least 1912 if not earlier. I have a picture of him wearing it while holding my newly born great aunt, and she was born in 1912. It might be older but I have no idea.
Super Bowl ring would be better . Some of those have some bling ( saw a line up of them through the ages the other day )
What is wrong with the right pinky? The link says either. My wedding ring is white gold and would clash with the yellow gold.

Over here in the Netherlands we don't have the tradition of high school class rings. I know of it through movies I've always thought it was really cool - I guess I'm a sucker for nostalgia. So in my opinion: have it repaired and go for it!
The way the gold has fractured away on each side of the break MAY be a problem! Goldsmiths encounter a problem they call "rotten gold" which resists soldering! When they do, it is usually because of porous gold which has been composed of a portion of scrap gold plus new alloy when the ring was cast. Jagged breaks such as those on your ring are often a warning sign! In your case, I hope I am wrong!
