JB Champion Repair: New Komfit vs 1960's JB Champion

This is a shot in the dark, but does anyone know if any of the parts on the new Forstner Komfit are the same or close enough in tolerance to a 1960's band. In particular, this question applies to the small spring on a straight-end 16/19mm JB Champion, the one that flexes the variable ends. The spring on my original broke and I'm willing to swap the busted one out for a new Komfit one (it's all I've got). I was surprised how easy it was to remove the end and discover the problem (using a thumbnail actually). The spring has a loop on each end (well, a good spring); those loops attach to those small posts on opposite each other on the ends (left and right). I just need the right spring to put back over those posts and then button up the end.

Thanks, Jennison

That looks awfully "propriatery" ..... and i dont have Forstner one to check,
but maybe you can search the bay for ; bracelet adjustable end links , or vintage style flexible...etc
you see some with similair style flexible end links 16 - 20mm that also have a spring inside.

Thank you. You’re on the button in terms of this being proprietary. Understandably, Forstner was tight-lipped when I asked them.

Loop end extension springs gives a lot of hits on google, if you add the size i think they are out there...
