I have started a project to get the 1960s NASA look for my Speedy. At this point I have a bracelet but it's without the correct ends. Short of some ends turning up, I am after a bracelet where I can raid the ends - but I still need some guidance as to the type of ends I will need. My first question is are the ends I need specific to the mesh style. I have seen an old band with what looks like similar end pieces but unsure if they can be used to get the look I am after.

This is the look I am after 16mm mesh width with 19mm ends (expandable to 19mm I believe) - photo by TLIguy (and with thanks for his help to date)

This is the band I have:

This is the possible donor bracelet:

So will it be possible to pull these ends off the donor piece and put them on the mesh to complete the project or do I need to find ends specific to the mesh?

Has anyone done this kind of modification?

    Cheers

I think the horn ends look best on the Ed White due to smaller lug width. For later references the straight ends don't highlight the extra mm of lug width
