Hello, new to forum. Were JB Champion bands ever factory issue. I have a 166.0209, 1020 movement that has a JB Champion band and being told it is factory. Any help would be appreciated.
I don't believe that JB Champion bracelets were ever issued by Omega. The only link that I know of between the two companies is when NASA changed from the original Omega bracelet to the JB Champion in case the astronauts had to break free of their watch.
Typically Omega watches were sold on a strap and bracelets were added at the time sale as an accessory by the selling agent. Original to the watch may be correct but just not from the factory.
