Watching Series 2 ep 4 of the Grand Tour on Amazon (tl;dr if you don't watch it; it's better than most of the last series but still a bit limp at times), and I thought James May looked like he might be wearing an Omega from the look of the bracelet, then towards the end, thought it looked like a Seamaster Jedi... but on closer inspection from an earlier clip I'm not so sure - can't see any pushers for one... Does anyone have an idea what this is?
I'm not familiar enough with the Jedi to say one way or another. But on one of the Season 2 episodes (can't remember which) May was wearing a Railmaster XXL -- which he explicitly referenced in dialogue when he floated the idea of trying 'negative advertising' on the show -- having Omega pay him not to wear a rival brand's watch. I believe I also saw Clarkson wearing an XXL Railmaster on a Season 2 episode.
I've seen Richard Hammond wearing a vintage Omega Speedmaster. I also chatted to him in my local motorcycle shop but forgot to ask about the Speedy.
