    @Florent

    Sometimes crystal distortion can play tricks in photos, but the 'SWISS' appears significantly misaligned to the left under the '6'.

    Can you tell me how the alignment looks in person?

    A movement photo would be fabulous, as well.. :)

    Indeed, SWISS looks misaligned.

    Does it mean this is a redial ?

    I'm 99% sure about this watch to be fully orignal. I bought it from the son of the owner. I believe this watch to be untouched.

    Good chance of it.

    Sometimes this was routinely done by watchmakers when dials were discolored.

    I have seen this "Automatic" font used on other JLC dials, but without seeing the dial in person, there is no way to tell for sure.

    This is very very bizarre. My guess is the dial is original and only the swiss is repainted later (perhaps to cover a blemish at the 6 o clock).

    But....why would the person in question not align it? Not even bombay special redialers would make such a decision...::confused2:: or was he leaving a space to add 'T-'?
