·Hi all,
This may look familiar---bought it from Modest Proposal a few months ago.
I gave it a good run, but it's a tad formal for me.
It's a 37mm Jaeger-LeCoultre Reserve de Marche, black dialed watch in great working condition.
As you (may) recall, when David had this up for sale, it wasn't in working condition, so I got a good deal. It turns out that a plate screw was loose and wasn't allowing the rotor to turn. I took it to my watchmaker and he fixed everything. I also had a former JLC employee time the watch and check it out. Everything passed with flying colors... It's a few (under 5) seconds fast a day.
I've added 2 genuine JLC bands to the mix...one tan alligator and one tan ostrich. I've also added a Camille Fournet burgundy strap. Also, I've added a genuine JLC buckle from the JLC boutique in Vegas.
It comes with B&P as well.
The whole sha-bang is for sale at $3,750--which is essentially what I bought it for, with service costs and band costs added in, which is fair for this watch.
Lastly, there IS a subtle engraving on the back. Is says ASC 2000 on the back.
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
Just to alleviate any concerns on condition of the watch...if you buy it, we'll work out a grace period where your own watchmaker can tell you "this JLC is tip-top".
