    Hello Of

today i am looking for thoughts on this really neat looking powermatic
    Cal 481 Bumper movement (serviced)
18 k solid gold (rose ish)

The dial shows some possible moisture damage in the past?

Has anyone seen any of these sell in recent years ? I see one stainless version was sold on this forum, but have yet to see a solid gold, "sold" listing.
A google search showed a few sold online but, the prices seemed ridiculous, $3000 +

    See photos,
Please let me know what you think,
what is a fair price on one of these ? i do not know much about JLC but i love the red in the gold.

The dial isn't appealing to me personally, but I'm guessing that's not what you wanted to hear. I spent a few minutes googling, and auction prices weren't too hard to find. I'm going to say that the price range for these is roughly $1k-$2k depending on condition, and this would be closer to the bottom end IMO.

I concur. Price is going to be based on gold weight of the case, which at over $1,800 per oz. is likely to be in the $1,000 range.

Add another few hundred for the dial (original, IMO) and movement and there you go.
