5 days remain an already up to $1200. This looks super clean. I am not able to find any other sales of identical watches to determine a high bid.

Any thoughts on final sale price?

I really like this look.

Not really my thing but there are a couple others here on the forum more into these who might venture a guess.

The case has been heavily polished and likely re-plated, note the severe wear damage from a bracelet with sprung end links on the inside of the lugs.

First, it's not rare. NIce, with an excellent condition dial? Yes. As XJR says the lugs aren't crisp and show some wear that might have been covered over by electorplating after they were overpolished. The price is too high already. A couple guys I know have these, including gatorcpa so maybe he'll comment on it. Fair warning that he paid MUCH less for his. It did need a little TLC but it turned out very nice.

"Thank you its a beautiful watch, case was polished and re-plated sorry i do not have pictures of inside the lugs. "

Is a re-plated case similar to a redial, as far as value? Also, there have not been many sales on ebay the last 4 were an average $750 and two very nice 50s models sold for $900-1000. The low was $465, and it looked to be okay shape. These however were all 50s era.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Mine was the $465 one that you saw. The cal. 916 is a more collectible movement than my cal. 814, so a higher value is justified. However, I prefer non-calendar watches, as I tend to change watches every day.

Replated case hurts the value. I think it's top of the market with more than 4 days to go.

By the time this one was produced in the late 1960's almost all LeCoultre watches had signed "JL" crowns. This one has crowns that don't seem to match the case. At this price level, you'd be better served looking for a JLC signed dial and movement, with a gold plated top. If you are very lucky, you might be able to get one in steel.

Hope this helps,
gatorcpa

I was wrong, the auction ends in one hour. The current bid for the watch is just over $3,000.

Holy shit! 😲 Something fishy had to go on there! There's NO WAY a gold filled LeCoultre Memovox should break $1700!!!!

Maybe I should pay this guy a 20% commision to sell my Jaeger Memovox. If he can crack $3K for that LeCoultre version, He'll score $5K easy selling mine.
