I recently accepted this watch in a trade among other stuff. However I knew it's not my style and it won't get a place in my collection, I thought it's something OF community will like to see offered here.

For sale comes a high grade calibre in one of the sleekest watch and dial designs made in the 1960s. As usual for me, condition is everything.

The dial is amazing. It is simply perfect. Some of applied indexes have a light brown hue depending on the light, or deep black. The hands are impeccable, luminous material original and still intact. Behaves as should under UV light : glows and fades quickly.

Its 36mm case is untouched. There are some very light traces but no dings or scratches at all. Correct signed crown.

The caseback is is beautiful. The engraved medallion still retains some traces of the blue protective coating. Considering the condition of the serial engraving, I think it's safe to say it's never been polished or messed up with.

The K881G movement is obviously also super clean. Serviced in 2020, good for a while. Please note that it's a vintage watch and its water resistance was not tested and is not guaranteed. The buyer has to be aware of that and wear the watch with that in mind.

Finally, the watch comes on an alligator leather JLC strap with a signed SS buckle.

To recap :

- A classic, beautiful watch
- Great movement, recently serviced
- JLC leather strap with a signed SS buckle
- CONDITION !!!

What you see is what you get.

Terms and conditions :
I am a private collector and will set the post OHPF after getting the first PM saying "I will buy this watch at your price".

4500 CHF wired to my Swiss bank account for a local sale in Switzerland.

Alternatively, 5100 USD / 4200 EUR / 3650 GBP wired directly to my Wise or Revolut accounts for a sale abroad. Fully insured shipping from Switzerland to wherever Fedex can deliver, included.

Returns are accepted only if grossly misrepresented. You will get what you see in these pictures which are of a decent quality, unedited and high resolution, so I don't believe there is any chance of misrepresentation. Feel free to ask for special details or angles you want to see better, prior buying.

So nice! If I could afford it, I'd jump on it right now.
But at least I can afford a bump 😀
GLWS!

How refreshing to see a chronometre-grade movement in a watch that doesn't scream it from the dial. I love these 'inside baseball' aspects of some vintage pieces. Good luck with sale!

I love seeing this, it’s such a beauty!

The Geomatic was produced from 1962 to approximately 1970, and the movement serial # corresponds to an approximate 1964 production (Zaf Basha).

GLWS!!

Thanks for posting this, I’ve amended my description as there was indeed a typo with the 1950s 👍
