The herd continues to thin, up for sale is this beautiful 18K gold JLC dress watch from the late 60s/early 70s

Dial: I love sunburst dials which is what attracted me to this watch in the first place. It's untouched in mint condition. The little spots you see are dust on/under the crystal and small marks on the crystal.

Hands: Beautiful thin and elegant 18K hands.

Case: Polished before in the past to my eye, but still reasonably sharp. Please see the macro photos of the lugs and the crown to see the case edges. Still nicely define and the lug backs are very sharp. Hard to find untouched gold cases from this era. Case measures 34.6 x 41.1 mm with my digital calipers. Wears more like 35 mm given the thin bezel edge.

Caseback: Snap-back with brushings and case back serial intact and nicely visible.

Crystal: Domed plexi crystal in nice shape with small marks as you can see in the photos.

Crowns: Original 18K crown with JL logo.

Movement:
Caliber K885 running well with 200+ amplitude and -18 s/day with the dial up. Little variation with position changes. If you're going to wear this as a daily I'd recommend a service. Also if you want me to open up the case back I'm happy to go to a watchmaker and do that, just let me know.

Price: Offered 1250 usd to me shipped in the USA with USPS Priority fully insured. I'll only accept returns if the watch you receive is grossly different than the watch I've described.

Had a request for a wrist shot. Here it is on my 7.5 inch wrists. I love wearing this size with long sleeves.
