Dear all, I saw this Jaeger in a shop in my town. The seller is not able to tell me which reference and he says he has to do some research before telling a selling price. I think it should be quite old (it is only Jaeger and not Jaeger LeCoultre and there is a similar watch here: https://mrjoneswatches.com/products/jaeger-1930s-chronograph) and quite rare, because I did not see any of this watch on Chrono24... but I'm not an expert at all and for me it could be anything Could you kindly help me? Thank you very much!
The movement looks like an Universal 281. As "281" is written on the main plate of your movement, I think it is it! I do not know the reference for JLC.
It is worth noting that the dial has been refinished. This drastically decreases the value of the watch.
