Hello guys! I purchased a Vintage IWC with very little information in the add.
What I have found out myself after receving the watch, is that it is a Ref. 500 according to iwc forum
and Runs on a cal 401.
my concern is the big age difference.
Can anyone help me? is it a franken or something?
    Movement #: 1,782,161 made in 1965
    Case #: 1,335,904 delivered in 1955

The case and movement numbers should not be so far apart. It's not unusual for them to be separated by a year or two, and I have heard some IWC collectors say that the gap can be as much as 4 years for certain models, especially in the 1960s. However, 10 years apart is too much.

So assuming that you have the numbers correct, the watch is not all original.
