IWC vs Omega Nato

Sharing some info, lotta pics as I just received two IWC natos and have been using an Omega on my fleigher. Omega is the clear winner to me, even more comfortable than the leather lined IWC. IWC you have to purchase buckle separately, makes it more expensive too. Packaging, extras, nylon quality, stitching, hardware all favor Omega clearly. Just an FYI.

I’m a fan of the Omega NATO. What is the difference in cost?

Are either of these straps made in house or rather out-sourced?
I have the all black Omega NATO that came with my Speedy, and it is nice for sure.
When you get a single Omega NATO what all do you get?
Your picture makes it look like the red case, tool, and are those more spring bars? And what are the other 2 little plastic vials on the right?

The iwc is around 180 because you buy the strap and buckle separately. Omega was 160.

The vials contain spring bars, you get a nice strap changing tool, and also a suede pad to place the watch in while changing. The Omega extras are nicer and packaging phenomenal.

Ah I see.
I thought that maybe the spring bars were in that white Omega branded envelope thing.
I mean at least you get some goodies with it lol.

I've bought 2 Omega NATO's from the Houston OB. Only thing I got was the strap in a plastic wrap. It didn't come with anything else.

I purchased online, through Omega website, I think this is the reason for the extras.

Same here - I have bought two Omega NATOs from the OB here in Melbourne and received both in simple cardboard boxes with none of the extras you mentioned. Perhaps it's better to order these online. I agree that the Omega NATOs are great quality. As a bonus for people with big wrists, they are also just slightly longer than the cheaper NATOs I own, allowing them to be tucked in more easily.

@WurstEver The iwc natos are noticeably shorter. Maybe some would like better if they don’t like the NATO tuck-back. Only thing I like about the IWC is the fleigher style end profile, Omega crushes it in every other catagory in my opinion.

Not a big fan of NATO straps myself but I have to admit these look terrific. Thanks for posting this, I might consider them in the future.

Amazed how the IWC does not look expensive. The stitching and materials seem to leave me a bit wanting.

They don’t feel expensive either. I mean, they are nice looking and leather lined, but they really pale in comparison to Omega. These are premium priced natos, the extras and the fit and comfort of Omega almost justifies the cost. Iwc not even close, they need to up their game. Iwc nylon area isn’t as nice as a premium Blushark, Phenom, or Toxic brand imo.
