IWC reference 3711 Double Chronograph, with domed sapphire crystal. A nice example of the Habring-designed IWC Rattrapante chronograph. Watch has all-original tritum dial and hands, plus the original screw-down crown with its fish logo. Serial number dates the watch to a 1992-1993 production date.

A Full service was performed by an independent watchmaker while in my possession in 2016, plus a recent look- over and regulation in 2020. Hacking automatic movement may be wound manually as well. The Start/stop/split/rattrapante and full reset functions all work flawlessly - It’s a fascinating complication.

Dial is perfect with the tritium lume showing a nicely aged ivory color and a decidedly military look overall.
Case is in very nice condition and has all factory finished surfaces, and shows light wear. See photos. Steel dust/anti magnetic cover. English Day wheel.

The domed sapphire crystal is unique to the 3711, and is in excellent shape with no chips or scratches. Fitted with a padded chestnut colored aftermarket strap and buckle with minor wear as shown. Original IWC branded black alligator strap and IWC buckle showing some wear is also included.
