IWC Platinum Caliber 853

Uncommonly seen platinum case iwc calatrava style cal 853. The case is 35.5x44.5 mm and wears beautifully. The case is in excellent condition likely having been very lightly maintained over the years. Dates to the early 1960s. As is typical this platinum case is marked pt950 with Japanese hallmarks. Beautiful opaline dial is untouched with original hands and crown. Movement service is unknown but the watch is running and keeping time well. I’ve worn it sparingly as the owner over the last 3 years.
