What IWC is doing with its limited / vintage releases is very much in the right direction. A big fan of it...

I like the way it looks. Not gong down well on Instagram though .

I think it’s a bad move for Hodinkee to feel the need to reply to all the negative comments.

The fact that it didn’t sell out immediately demonstrates that they have misjudged this one.

Vintage look with DLC... not a surprise it’s not loved.

This one seems like the less successful little brother of the limited Rake/Revolution one. That one was really interesting, this one not so much.

According to the website, it has been sold out now for an hour or two.

Great looking watch that I felt was priced about $1k too high.

I think it’s beautiful. A bit steep in price, but I guess the 500 piece run is the justification. I wish it was 38 mm, the dials on these wear big because they are so clean. (I had the tribute and it felt big at 40mm)

I like the case and the no-date, but that price is wishful thinking.

I love the case... always a fan of all-matte finishes, especially black, and the 'ceratanium' material seems pretty awesome. The size is also perfect (39mm diameter X 10.8mm thick) and I love the strap they've paired it with.

That said, I absolutely detest faux-aged lume so that's a dealbreaker for me. That and the fact that anything Hodinkee slaps their name on seems to always be overpriced.

Not that keen on this version and even less keen on the price.

    $6400 for a Sellita-base 3-hander? Nah man

+1 that price is crazy. I have a feeling that speculators who purchased to re-sell are going to get burned on this one.

I thought 36/37mm would be a better size... but yeah the replies on IG on their post seems.... harsh.

But seriously, it’s a bit too plain for me

I like it but at that price point there a plenty of other watches to consider first... However case material seems nice.

I’d have to see it in real sit.. but from the sideline - it looks boorish imo.
