Then again the original Uhr A where what 48 or 52mm? But continued post WWII in 38-42mm?

I don't 100% understand this watch to be honest. You can get an identical Laco or Stowa for about 1k

 

Yes, I would have liked it if IWC made the smaller cased pilots with the onion crown.

 

Those Stowa are very nice, looks like great value for the money. I've vaguely heard of Laco. What are your impressions of both.

 

Which is what I meant. They had two different styles and gradually turned the one that was unique to them into the one that everyone else also has.

 

Basically I've read next to each other the one that costs slightly more money is slightly better. I forget which it is.
