Looks like I am still suffering from Explorer 1016 withdrawal. Picked up this IWC Mark XII. Anything I should be worried about?

The Mark XII looks exceptionally good!...seems like a perfect color match of hands and markers. A non-date dial option would have been a better looking alternative IMO! enjoy!

...btw, did you pick up a couple of pair of pants to compensate things? :p

Liking it more than the Explorer?

I love my Mark XII and its solid no frills style, the OEM bracelet is really nice too and worth tracking down.

Folks have fretted over the Jaeger movement, I've banged mine around for 5 years, no worries.

I got one 10 years ago in very good condition. But don't really wear it because of the 36mm.

I always liked this one. How does it wear?

I just won it in an auction (not Ebay). I haven't been invoiced yet, so a bit concerned that the seller is getting a bit remorseful..

    Do you have any recourse?

I don't know, if the seller decided he didn't get enough money in the auction, probably nothing I can do.

I also got myself a green dial Seiko Speedtimer in the same auction batch, and have already been invoiced for that. So bit fishy.

Dial is the old and original one with "T Swiss Made" still, which is good. Hands look fine as well.
You might ask about last service, otherwise if the price is right....

Small size (36mm) fit wonderful on the arm but you can feel the weight of Platinum. I guess a perfect watch for summer, even on a ladies wrist.
