I know the Mark VII was produced 1994-99 and most photos show tritium dials. I'm wondering if the later production watches would have had luminova? I'm looking at this watch that has been serviced by Superior Watch but it appears that the markers are luminova, not tritium. Although the seller says it is tritium, there are no Ts next to Swiss Made and the marker colors don't have the patina every other Mark XII I've seen has. Is it likely a service dial or possibly an original, later production, with luminova? Interested to hear your thoughts.
Seller sent me a photo of the crown. I think I'm right that the watch has a service dial because all other Mark XIIs that I have seen have a fish and this crown doesn't. Can anyone confirm my suspicions are correct?
I'm no expert, but I can validate your observations. All other examples I have seen have a fish crown and T SWISS MADE T. Just didn't want you to get mad that nobody was answering your questions.
No. I asked the seller if the crown and dial were service replacements. I susspect he knows the answer. If not, I'll ask about lume shot.
