    Hello,

I am putting up for sale a pretty rare IWC Pellaton caliber 8531 in a platinum case.

I would like 1800EUR net to me.
I accept PayPal (fees at the charge of the buyer ~+3%) for well established forum members only and bank wire for every potential buyer.

I am located in France so EU deals preferred. If located outside EU, the buyer is responsible for any additional taxes.
Shipping fees are free if shipped within EU. For outside EU, I'll have to check separately.
I accept returns if grossly misrepresented.

According to the serial number of the movement, the watch is from the early 60s :

The watch is powered by an automatic pellaton caliber 8531 - It doesn't have a quick set date function but it is possible to manipulate the date both forward and backward.

The watch needs a service. It runs for some time but stops randomly.

The dial has some stains from moisture on the outline and a few spots here and there (near the date window).

The case has scratches. They are highlighted by the strong light that I used. They aren't as visible in more natural light but I wanted to make them as visible as possible.m

    The case diameter is 35mm.
    The lug width is 18mm.

According to my research the case is made by a Japanese company called isomura. In the 1960s they were the Japanese distributor for IWC watches, produced a small number of platinum cases for the Japanese domestic market. These cases were made in Japan in order to avoid the prohibitively high tariffs on importing platinum cases from Switzerland.
