FS: As the title states, I'm offering one of the best examples I've seen of the IWC Der Fliegerchronograph on it's original 5-row brick/pillow link bracelet
Reference: IW3706 or 3706-07 or 370607 as it's referred to on bracelet
Case: Truly one of the best cases I've seen on these with high polished facets fully intact with all original finishing, including the correct, original fish crown. I truly believe this watch to be unpolished.
Movement: Valjoux 7750 which was serviced in mid 2021, winding, setting, date changing, chrono functions, time keeping all as it should.
Dial: Original tritium dial and hands are absolutely stunning (imho), contrasting beautifully with matte black dial, which is flawless. Not all of these develop the same patina, but this one has "it".
Bracelet: The original 5-row brick or pillow link bracelet takes what is an already great watch to a whole other level, offering a very unique feel being non-tapered throughout. I am a big fan of smaller, thin watches, which had me avoiding this watch for years due to the thickness, but the bracelet completely negates that, as it wears wonderfully - comfortable, solid, purpose built. It really feels like it could handle anything. It's sized to fit about a 6.5" wrist now and I have one extra row of links, which measures out to be 7.25" flat and would fit a wrist somewhere between 6-3/4" and 7-1/8" depending on how tight you like it, etc. There are definitely links available on eBay, C24, and they pop up on the forums from time to time as well.
Price: $4,100 USD shipped within the continental US. I'm located in the US and typically ship via ParcelPro, I will ship outside of the US at actual price generated at time of label creation. If you prefer an alternative shipping method, I'm open to discussing. Payment via PP F&F, Venmo F&F, Zelle, or Wire.
References: I have numerous references here, ChronoTrader, Reddit, WUS, eBay, Instagram, etc. Additional references available upon request:

    About the watch:
The 3706 is what I personally consider to be the archetype or original IWC Pilot's Chronograph, alongside the split second variant, which I personally found way too thick for the 39mm case. The watch is in absolutely fantastic condition inside and out, super comfortable on even small wrists, and just a real workhorse that makes it super easy to put on and not be motivated to change out. The dial and patina speak for itself in the kind of warm (neo) vintage condition you hope to find. With the case condition and bracelet being the unsung heroes the wearer will really appreciate with every use.

The only reason I'm selling is because I'm trying to thin the herd; I'm listing several in hopes of selling a few. I'm in the very fortunate position of feeling like I just have too many watches right now, and being as particular as I am, it's not easy to sell any as I love them all, including this great piece of vintage chronograph history. I will follow with straight iPhone shots taken in natural daylight with diffused light to the best of my meager abilities, but numerous additional photos can be seen on my instagram here, and a video of the watch can be found here

These are great watches and the bracelets are second to none. Also love the fact that this one is an older tritium example.

    GLWS!

I added the last link I had and measure the bracelet flat and it’s about 7.25” end to end. I also tried using a measuring tape on the inside and putting it on the largest watch roll I had and with varying degrees of success it looks like it would fit somewhere between 6-7/8” and 7-1/4” depending on shape of wrist, how tight, etc. Links are definitely available on eBay and C24, and pop up on the forums from time to time as well.
