Hello, I've recently inherited these four watches from my grandfather, does anyone think they are worth restoring? I still don't know much about them... The Longines seems to have a nice dial, however it lacks the crown, the plastic was too dirty and in the process of trying to clean it I messed it up a little more. Would have to replace that anyway, I think. The Tissot is working, but needs adjustment on the position of the hands. The Enicar and the Watra are keeping the time well... What do you think? Are they worth anything? Sorry for the poor pictures and I hope I get your usual sincere comments on them. Thanks
The Longines is the pick of the litter, the others are a bit nothing but the Tissot's probably the #2 pick.
Hey thanks for the comment, the crystal is blurry after I tried to clean it up, maybe it's because of that that it looks refinished? Or how can you be certain? Cheers.
The Tissot I can see clearly now that it has been refinished when I zoom in the letters of the brand...
The Longines is very clearly refinished because the edges of the subdial have been blunted by the paint. When you see that paint has been bleeding over the edges that's a straight giveaway.
