Well after selling my old man's speedmaster and fighting cancer myself, I was attending a local auction and picked up a Bulova Accutron Astronaut. Pictures Attached for your viewing pleasure. Sorry if the photos suck.

Odd! 14-karat case, gold filled back. ::confused2:: I’ve never seen an Accutron case marked that way. I gather you are looking for a part for the Accutron bracelet in your 6th picture. The expansion bracelet with the “one size fits all” spring loaded bracelet ends would not be the best choice for use long term, on 14-karat gold case.

Well I thought I was looking for that piece, but its curved and the watch is straight. So I'm not exactly sure what the extra band is to. Its not a 14 karat case just the bezel.

Gold filled JB Champion mesh come up from time to time. Might be an option. Great dial!.

Aha! Just got he 24-hour bezel ring is 14-karat, and the rest of the case gold filled. A bracelet often seen on the 214 model Astronaut is the “coffin” link bracelet which was available in gold filled.

Any suggestions on a repair/service guy for the watch?

Yes, that's the correct combination...14k bezel and champagne dial in gf case. Nice one! I know of a Kreisler GF coffin-link if you need one as a stopgap before you find the link to repair it...

I'm not sure the second watch band actual fits this watch as it has curved end links and I think only straight will fits this watch. Still investigating

All things are original on the watch including the 14kgf bullet band. Its an uncommon variant. Too bad about the dial damage but I have seen a few dials like this with similar damage. I see lots of refinished dials on this variant for that reason. End links are impossible to source. It may be easier to find a similar looking donor to rig up with some welding. I like the 14kGF coffin bracelets, but they are pricey and often have the gold plating worn off. I have a spare 14kGF bullet band if interested.

    +1 for Rob Berkavicious

That's a nice watch. I've been thinking about getting an Accutron myself as I think it would be a nice companion piece to my Omega f300hz. I heard there's a modern variant but I'm not so sure, I can't find anything remotely Accutron like that's still in production or even from the past 20 years (or else I'd add one of those to the ever growing list too).

I'm going to get it serviced and such before making additional investments in a band. I did notice the bands can be pricey.
