After talking to my friend this morning and deciding to withdraw the watch from sale to get the original parts fitted and a light polish.

I had no intention of buying a watch anytime soon but including all the bits and nearly 2 years Omega warranty he offered it me. It was too good of a deal to refuse.

So its mine now

Undecided at moment to fit the original parts are just enjoy as is what do you guys think

Very nice looking piece. Do you have a wristshot already?

Wear it in excellent health...

Great looking watch! I wouldn’t touch anything and just wear it. What parts came with it?

Personally I would wear it as is, very nice indeed. You at least have the old parts and the old dial/hands could be put back if you so desired.

Are you all mad? Put it back so it’s original as possible. Congrats by the way, always liked this reference

Agreed- keep the original parts safe and let the next owner decide if they want the damaged (oh-I’m sorry patina’d) parts. It’s a stunner right now with factory parts and service- can’t get better than that.

If it were still all original I would agree with you (keep it original) but the work has already been done and it looks fab.

Congrats!

I'd wear it as is, and let the next caretaker decide what to do with the worn original parts.
