It's finally here!! Now with added pics!

Well, after months of deliberation and a seemingly endless wait for my order to arrive, my brand new Speedy Pro Sapphire Sandwich is here!

I picked it up on the way into work so haven't had a proper chance to look through the goodies in the new box or take any photos but I'll try and get some up tomorrow!

I'd only seen the hesalite/metal case back version in the store, and ordered this one unseen. So far I'm very impressed! The movement looks beautiful and glints in the light. I see what people mean about the sapphire having a whiteish ring around the outside but I quite like it! It almost looks like the dial is eclipsing the moon and the ring is the surrounding white light (if that makes sense!)

Anyway, thank you to all those who helped me decide on this purchase - it's definitely worth the wait!

It's been on the wrist for a couple of hours and enjoying it. I think the bracelet might be a tad big still tho - seems to flop over the wrist more than my previous watch that had longer, curved lugs. How easy is it to adjust where the bracelet meets the clasp? The three holes for minor adjustment? I think moving it up one would be perfect!

Ok, so I couldn't wait til tomorrow. I've taken a few initial photos from my phone of the box and accessories. It's heavy! Everything is excellent quality though. I especially like the red metallic gilt edge on the Speedmaster history booklet! Can't get a decent pic of the watch/movement on my phone so will have to get the camera out for that. Enjoy! (Sorry a couple are sideways on, can't seem to rotate them on my phone...)
