I don't usually PM someone when I see a stunning watch in WRUW, but for some reason when @Barking mad posted this: I almost immediately PMed him, and within a day, he'd offered to sell it. (TIP: must PM more people commenting on their WRUW watches....) Another honourable mention goes to @ulackfocus in the What Did You Learn Today thread, for this excellent exchange: So, here it is now And older photos from a previous seller: Thanks to all of the other enablers/advice givers along the way @NT931 @gatorcpa @Nobel Prize @STANDY
Congratulations! However, I've seen that picture from 3 people now, and it's time to orient it correctly: Now, isn't that better? gatorcpa
Yeah, that's a really gorgeous watch. One of my favorite styles of all time and all brands. Thanks for the inspiring photos. Makes my stainless steel IWC with C89 look rather dull.
when one or even 2 thumbs up are not enough... It's stunning! Huge congrats, truly a great find especially with the original papers.
That's a beauty, well worth owning! Congrats! I guess @Barking mad is selling everything now, since he will stunn us all with his next purchase. His house is out on Craigslist
Whenever I see these I think to myself the closest thing we have these days is Nomos in Germany, who else is making calatrava-esque watches with nice hand wound movements at a great price point.
Not sure. Here are some macros. I think the hands are the same tone as the gold on the dial, but case seems a bit yellower?
