Curious how the weathering avoids the areas around the lettering and minute marks, like an uneven sun tan?

Was going to say the dial reminds me of those guys that hang out at nightclubs with really bad tans

It's typical shiny presentation of a dealer. That photo has gotten sufficient dose of photoshop adjustment for shiny effect.
Except for the dial, the rest is not too bad. The dial is in curious condition. It is possible because cleaning attempt, deteriorating lacquer or bad keeping method. Bracelet bricks is actually in good condition, all look tight.
Another minus point is the length of bracelet. It is only 7.1 inch. Which limit buyer with wrist smaller than 7 inch.

I'm surprised that there are no queries to the dealer on ebay about the dial.
