When Omega presented the new pieces at Basel this year I fell in love with the Apollo 45th Anniversary, so an email was sent to my AD in the UK to secure one for me. Well it's arrived, the only downside to it is that I cannot have it till I return home to the UK in October.

It's the only pic I have of it till I get home to the UK.

Might be a customs hassle moving a new watch around between the US and Europe, I just got stung badly by local customs here

 

I need the watch with me to declare the VAT back other wise I would.

 

That's not nice!

 

With 20% VAT on a pricey watch the ticket could well be cheaper

 

Well going by my last flight here return its cheaper to wait to claim the VAT!
