Three years ago today, I acquired this beauty ... the first high-end watch I bought for myself, to commemorate my upcoming engagement to the love of my life. (We had been engaged in college in the '80s, but drifted apart, and we reunited a few years ago.)

Now we're married, very happy, and she wears a Ladymatic that I got her for our wedding. And I'm still wearing this awesome piece - on which the warranty runs out today!

 

Engaged in the ‘80s. Could be anywhere between 30 to 35 years ago! Two loves of your life- your spouse and your Omega. One must ask why you waited so long. Enjoy.

I get that all the time from my wife. Our first date was in 1978 and we got married in 1988. Nobody else in between. She is quite truly my one and only. “What the hell took you so long?!” Try as I might, there is just no acceptable way to spin waiting 10 years.
