Hi guys, I think this is the best forum to ask such question and talk about Omega watches. I had few Omega watch before including Vintage Seamaster DeVille, Constellation but never chronograph. I want to buy vintage chronograph but I want to be sure it original watch. Could you tell me something about his watch? I search google and some websites but I didn't find watch like that with such movement. What do you think? It is worth to buy it?

This is before WW2 chronograph. It is beyond my knowledge, but if it is original, it would be an awesome collection.

Movement definitely a fake and the rest of the watch is likely fake as well.

Based on everything - it's a landeron movement of some type.

Looks like a nice one - need a better dial picture to confirm it isn't a repaint but it looks good so far. These jumbo 320 and 321 chronographs are very uncommon.

That Omega engraved on the movement is scandalous.

The font style looks to be "Oukrane".

Ok, This is my first post here but been an avid collector and have several vintage Omega's.

This is one looks like a total frankenstein (wrong bezel among a lot of other things) and not quite sure what to make of it but it caught my eye as possibly as a fun beater. What do you guys think it is? It's selling cheapish.

Lots of Omega bits from various models put together to make a watch.
I wouldn't buy it unless I badly needed a pert from it.

Thanks, the hands looks like they came from a Dynamic or an Admiralty, the movement from a Geneve or Dynamic but it is a robust movement (cal.613 adj.?). Don't know what the case is from, dial looks like it's a redone. The bezel definitely looks like a cheap non omega? It's amazing how many
frankenstein's are out there, at least this one can't be taken seriously or can fool anyone but I do think it's one of the more fun hack jobs.
Like you said, it could be used later for the parts for another (correct) watch.

Does that say 135.011? If so, it's the wrong caseback for that case.

    Thanks,

That's what I thought, yes it does say 135.011. I think those case backs were used for Seamaster 600's?

Does anyone recognize the case? I don't even think it's an Omega even though the case back is?

The second had looks way too long.

I emailed the guy and got a pretty funny response back saying "All of the watch is original parts but been put together for a nice looking watch"

For the record, I hate seeing all these hack jobs being sold as original Omega's. It's sad how often these come up for sale (more than orig.'s) and very sad for newcomers getting into vintage watches as they are the ones usually getting burned.

Relatively cheap, but served a purpose for 35-odd-years, no? Functional and utiliarian, like the Val. 7750 of its day. I have one in my John Wanamaker chrono from the '50s, fortunately obtained for a pittance. Works perfectly and keeps great time.
