    Here's your solution:

Yep, you're seeing that correctly. I did not Photoshop it in any way. ::facepalm2::

just like Woerda, except Invicta isn't actually claiming that it is the moonwatch!

y'know...I have aways kind of liked Invicta -- although have never owned one, and probably never will...

But I always had more respect for someone wearing an Invicta 'Homage' watch than for someone wearing an Asian 'replica/fake'

Truthfully, there has been a few times, where from 10 feet away, I thought that someone was a fellow WIS...until I got close enough ...

at the same time, for some reason...this leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

I really don't see it as all that much different from a replica, I saw a guy with a TT Submariner Invicta equivalent in a department store recently and almost thought it was a real Rolex until I got closer... was actually rather disappointed with the guy as a result as strange as that may sound

I am always more disappointed to identify a Fake.... especially when it is one of the 'really good' fakes.... for which people pay more than what one might pay for an invicta...( the tells are quite obvious for the Rolex... just look at where the crown sits on the case)...
At least the invicta wearer is saying I'd love to have a Rolex/Omega, but I can't afford/won't spend the money...
The fake wearer is trying to be something he isn't .... Which bothers me more...

the invicta wearer isn't trying to be a member of the club...the Fake wearer wants into the club without paying the membership fee...

Like I always say when people ask why I pay so much when there are Invictas and Fakes out there...and they use the argument that "no one will ever know the difference"... The fact is that you can fool everyone but yourself...and you have to always be true to yourself...

In anycase... I do agree with what your're saying...If you want an Omega and can't/don't want to/ pay...either save up/sacrifice, and do what you need to to accomplish a goal ( in which case the watch will be that much more meaningful), or...just admire from afar...

This is one of the many reasons I love my Sub as a travel watch. It doesn't stand out from all the fakes at a distance, so because of all the fakes I'm less likely to lose my left arm to a thug.

I always feel bad when I talk to people and they say to me "but I got such a great deal, it was originally $1,200 and I only paid $300". Funny how I've never seen one listed for "full price"...

Well, from the front it's far better looking than most Invictas. Of course, that's damning with faint praise. . .
